The first four columns show the location of a chaplain’s records in volumes of the Vatican Archives. For an account of each of these archival sources, click on its volume number.

The other columns relate information about each chaplain found in those records and elsewhere:
The title by which the chaplain was correctly addressed.
The number of the chaplain in a normalized alphabetical list;
  this number links to additional notes on Sheet2.
The chaplain’s name and surname.
His religious order.
His university degree.
His office or benefice or conventual house.
His diocese.
His probable vernacular language and dialect.
The day and month of his reception as honorary chaplain.
The year of his reception.
